Other school Design Projects
During my time at school I used AutoDesk Inventor for a number of different projects, always looking for new practice I undertook some CAD work for friends' projects.
Polarimeter
This polarimeter was
designed for the purpose of my A level Physics although it was not necessary to model in CAD I chose to draw it for the challenge of accurately modelling a light bulb.
Workmate
This Black and Decker Workmate was modelled for a drawing exam. The technical drawings from the model were used to help me understand how to draw such complex objects by hand.
Bicycle Rack
This bike rack was designed by a colleague who wanted to know what finish he should use on the item. I modelled it in a variety of finishes so that he could decide what material to use to make the rack.
Sheet Plastic Trimmer
This product was designed by a friend who wanted to see how it would look in real life so he asked me to model it for him based on the dimensions and sketches that he gave me.
Furniture
The chairs and the table were modelled for friends who wanted to see how their designs might look in a real life but the bedside cabinet was designed by me to fit in with a discontinued MFI range of bedroom furniture.
